Learning Spanish

I have been learning spanish for about 3 years and I can communicate ok for normal every day interactions but my learning has plateaued and I am not yet able to make small talk with people that I meet without resorting to English. I will be recording my experience as I try to improve my spanish speaking skills and try new ways to learn.
